Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
This is one of our debating teams this year.
Interest Groups
This year we are trialling special interest groups, fortnightly for children. Students selected and voted what they would like to do. The activities they are involved in are:
- sport
- pottery
- cooking
- film making
- sewing
- dance
- ukelele lessons
- games & fitness
- drama
- construction & building
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Our whole school got out on Country and went to Tomaree Headlands and did a variety of activities per stages.
Stage 3 climbed to the top of Tomaree Mountain, noting different landmarks along the way.
Stage 2 went to Zenith Beach and did symbols in the sand.
Stage 1 and Early Stage 1 built huts at the base of Tomaree Mountain.
