Uniform Policy

As part of our commitment to providing affordable and high quality school uniforms for our community, we have updated our school uniform policy, aligning with the NSW Department of Education guidelines.

2027 Uniform Overview:

Summer : Navy shorts or skorts, maroon school shirt, black shoes suitable for sport, white socks, Shoal Bay Public School hat (compulsory outdoors).
Winter : Navy shorts, skorts or pants, maroon school shirt, maroon jumper or jacket (no hoods), black shoes suitable for sport, white socks, Shoal Bay Public School hat (compulsory outdoors).
Navy Bottoms will not be starting until 2027, however if you are choosing to buy new clothing this year we suggest purchasing navy.

Shorts and Skorts Length Guidance:

To ensure comfort and appropriateness for school activities, we ask that shorts/skorts provide adequate coverage.

General Guidelines:

Uniform items must be suitable for school and physical activity.
Hats are mandatory for outdoor play – students without hats will play under cover.
Please label all items with your child’s name.
Uniforms can be purchased through The P&C clothing Store or other suppliers; the school can provide assistance for families in need.

The school is working with the P&C to stock and sell through Spriggy. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact the school office.

Uniform Prices

While the old maroon bottoms are still acceptable, you may begin purchasing the navy bottoms if you need to update your uniform, as the navy option will become the new uniform colour, starting in 2027.
