Harmony Day
This event is on Friday, 20 March. At Shoal Bay Public School, we celebrate Harmony Day with great enthusiasm, encouraging all students and staff to wear orange or their traditional cultural dress for the day. This vibrant display of colours and diversity reflects our commitment to embracing and respecting the rich cultural backgrounds that make up our school community.
Dressing in orange, the colour symbolising harmony and inclusiveness, or showcasing cultural attire fosters a sense of belonging and pride among students. The day promotes understanding, acceptance, and the value of multiculturalism, creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone’s heritage is celebrated.
