School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:

Harbourside Haven Visits
We are involved in a great initiative between Harbourside Haven residents and our school children. It is a great initiative for everyone involved. The children love visiting and being visited. See our calendar for all the dates your child/ren are involved
Nuf Nuf Fundraiser
Term 2's Nuf Nuf (fun fun backwards) fundraiser that the Year 6 student's run, will be on Friday, 26 June 11.40am to 12.40pm.
NAIDOC Activities
This year our NAIDOC March is on Thursday, 2 July (this is the new date as 25 June was postponed).
Our NAIDOC whole school excursion is at Murrook on Monday, 29 June. It is free excursion for all child/ren this year. You just need to give permission as it's offsite, if you haven't already.
Our School NAIDOC assembly will be held on Friday, 3 July at 2.30pm.
School Starts Term 3 and
Newcastle Excursion
School starts for Kinder to Year 6 on Tuesday, 21 July.
Everyone should be refreshed and ready for a busy term 3.
Stage 1 need to be ready for the Newcastle Museum and Civic Theatre Excursion on Wednesday, 22 July.
Public Education Week Mini Fete
Join us for an exciting event on Tuesday, 4 August, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
Enjoy carnival-style games and activities, with a gold coin donation required for entry. Be sure to bring extra coins to participate in the games and win fantastic prizes, generously provided by Shoal Bay Country Club.
One of the highlights is the kids’ favourite—the Ice Bucket Challenge! Children can contribute gold coins into jars labelled with teachers' and staff members' names at the front office. The three staff members with the highest donations will take part in the challenge.
